Last week, the Redlands Noon Rotary Club had the pleasure of welcoming one of our own, Ginger Simonton, for an insightful and meaningful presentation on health and wellness.
Ginger introduced the concept of the four domains of health: physical, psychological, social, and spiritual. She shared how each area plays a critical role in overall well-being and how imbalance in one domain can affect the others.
A key focus of her talk was the connection between chronic stress and long-term health challenges. Ginger explained how ongoing stress can contribute to both physical illness and mental health concerns, making it essential to recognize and address stress early.
Through her work, Ginger specializes in individual, couple, and family therapy, with a focus on trauma, chronic illness, and the unique mental health needs of military members and first responders. Her experience brought depth and real-world perspective to the conversation.
Her message was both informative and practical, encouraging members to take a more intentional approach to their own well-being and to support others in doing the same.
At Redlands Noon Rotary, we value opportunities to learn from one another, and Ginger’s presentation was a powerful reminder that caring for ourselves is an important part of being able to serve others.
