A proud member of the Rotary Club of Redlands since 1982, Bernie exemplified our motto, “Service Above Self.” His decades of service reflected a life of commitment, generosity, and heart.

Bernie served our country with distinction as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force.  After retiring from the military, he continued giving back as an educator with the Redlands Unified School District, guiding and inspiring countless students.

A proud Irishman, Bernie was always ready with a good joke, a warm smile, or a witty remark to brighten your day. His humor, kindness, and sincerity made him a beloved presence at every Rotary meeting and in every circle he touched.

We will miss Bernie’s stories, his laughter, and his unwavering dedication to Rotary and to our community. 

Let us honor Bernie’s memory by carrying forward the joy, service, and camaraderie he so effortlessly brought into our lives.
